Selena Gomez recently got a tat on the back of her neck of the Roman numeral LXXVI, which translates to number 76.
The young actress went to tattoo artist Bang Bang (seriously not sure why anyone would go by that name) in New York; Bang Bang has inked many celebrities.
“Selena was nervous it might have been painful, so she held her best friend’s hand the whole time. But she did a great job,” says Bang Bang about Selena’s tattoo session.
Bang Bang (I’m still wondering why) says that the tattoo was meant as a tribute to someone and it turns out that Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey was born on April 16, 1976.
I happen to like tattoos and Selena’s latest one was done with special meaning behind it, which is always the best way to do it. For those that may say this changes their image of the Disney princess just remember that at least she didn’t get a tramp stamp.
